Christian Torres answered the call to be Pastor-Teacher of Riverside Baptist Church in Southern CA on January 6, 2019. A former US Navy Hospital Corpsman, Pastor Torres received his commission in the US Army Chaplaincy in 2011. His ordination into the gospel ministry was recognized at Life Point Baptist Church, Apple Valley, CA in 2014. He holds a Bachelor’s in Religious Education (West Coast Baptist College), a Master’s in Ministry (Temple Baptist Seminary) and Master of Arts in Biblical Studies (Piedmont Divinity School). As a United States Army Reserve Chaplain, he is endorsed by Foundations Baptist Fellowship International (www.fbfi.org), and currently assigned as Brigade Chaplain (Major) for the 1394th Transportation Surface Brigade in Camp Pendleton, CA.

Pastor Torres has served in various capacities ranging from volunteer Church Worker to full-time Associate Pastor in the United States, Japan and the Philippines. He is married to Brittany, and they have five adorable girls (Kyleigh, Kloeigh, Kelleigh, Karleigh, Kerreigh), and a debonair son (CJ). As a Chaplain, he supervises several Unit Ministry Teams on the west coast.
